Advanced Emergency First Aid Responder (AEFAR)
The Advanced Emergency First Aid Responder (AEFAR) is South Africa's highest-level workplace first aid qualification, registered at NQF Level 4 and aligned with QCTO's occupational standards for professional emergency response. This comprehensive five-day programme replaces the old First Aid Level 3 and is designed for individuals who need to lead first aid operations, manage multiple-casualty incidents, and deliver advanced clinical care in demanding environments. From petrochemical plants and remote mine sites to construction projects and corporate health teams, AEFAR-qualified responders are the backbone of workplace emergency preparedness. If you are serious about emergency care, this is where your training reaches its peak.
